Take pictures and let me know if browns got in there. Throw them on the bank if you catch a brown there

I'll eat them even though they're not as delicious as the brookies.

    Re: Looking to get lost.

Will that be your first time going there? Do you see the directions I put? Donít go in from cherrytown (or cherry whatever) take the extra few mins to go to the yeager side. And again throw anything that isnít a brookie onto the bank or keep it or whatever. But I doubt youíll see anything but brookies. Only similar brookie fishing Iíve seen in the Catskills was the upper rondout near blue hole. And please take pictures and if you go a little downstream (less than a football field) youíll see the old forest fire. Iíd love to see pictures of it 10ish years after Iíve been there too see how it is recovering. You canít miss it

    Re: Looking to get lost.

It will be my first time exploring the area. The Yeager Town road advice is good too. I've read it in some hiking groups. Not sure when I'm going but I'll post when I do.

    Re: Looking to get lost.

i googled it, its fucked now, good luck fishing between russians and asians from nyc. fuck, i didnt ruin it by my post but if u google it its all instagram ppl swimming and taking their kids/wives/cousins/uncles/brother-inlaws/ex-wives there. and theres posts saying "better get there early for parking". mother fucker... when i was going there only like 10 years ago there was no one, parking wasnt a question.

good luck tompg and lmk but it seems to be fucked now.....

good fucking luck.... this was from last year https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ve...702719!9m1!1b1

yep after further googeling its fucked now, completely fucked.... fuckkkkk im only 32 and ive seen a nice secret place fucked by people finding it. oh and my town which has been completely over crowded from nyc and nj cause of covid and blm shit. It's a "white flight" scenario from the 70's-90's that keeps expanding our suburbs, all over again

If nobody knows about it, nobody would care about it. Then it would be gone.
