Does Jim's response cast doubt over ANYTHING that your "contacts" might say? It's unfortunate that we do not know who said what. Of course, transparency in that regard, is too much to ask, yes?

I beleive Dennis is entitled to his thoughts, but I'm not so sure I agree with his thought process. I think I would have done things a little different myself.

For instance; after contacting the DRBC, NASA, FUDR, ACLU, NAACP, NHRA, USGS, NYDEC, NJDMV, and a few other non-associated organizations such as Jim Jones (It's just juice, trust me), I believe I would have afforded myself the opportunity to contact the DRF and possibly TU, just to see what they had to say, before rushing to the judgement that all non-believers are going to hell.

Now if Dennis mentioned that he did contact TU and someone from the DRF, then made the decision to support someone else, I could respect that. Listening to a 1 sided story and basing your support on that side without even giving the opposition the same opportunity to answer the same questions, in my opinion is not my idea of due diligence.

Could you imagine Dennis as a judge in a courtroom... The prosecutor gets up and explains his case (Let's take the Duke Case for example)... Then when the defense stands up to offer a defense statement, he puts on a set of headphones and starts playing the air guitar to his favorite Clapton tune. The song is over and the defense says, "Your honor, it's clear there is no evidence to support the States case". The judge says, "Yep, you're right... it's clear to me that they're all guilty... Putem away for life."

Oooph... That's rough.

So how'd the phone conversation go? Did it change your opinion of the people who told you all about Jim's nefarious collusion with the DRBC? Let's see, it was one, some or all of the following that told you this, yes? (I bet you I could guess which )

I have contacted many of these groups in the past 3 business days plus additional contacts in each. (Department Of Interior at the Office of Secretary Level, Department of Interior, U.S.G.S., F.U.D.R., D.R.B.C. and a few un-associated fly fisherman). The contacts know who they are and I appreciate their insight. I have asked tough questions, and I have received very direct responses that leave very little question about the state of inter-locking relationships.

Given, of course, that Jim cleared up that their information was untruthful at least and more likely slanderous in nature. For the sake of transparencey, I think we should all know who would spread theses types of accusations around. BUT, to answer your question, Jim posted them, yes. We ALL knew it was JIM. HE took responsiblity for his post.

THESE TURDS seem to have said it in some sort of secret behind the scenes way. They are obviously not the sort of people who would go public with their allegations, OR step up and say they might be wrong. See the difference?

Any idea how the lawsuit is going against the neighbor who did that clearing of the stream? (That was just for fun)

Unless you were poking around before Pete's nimble fingers erased it, you would have seen that I was not only called a Llama lover (alpacas really but let's not quibble; I mean, I like llamas, too.) but also I was informed that I was STILL a piece of "crap".

WELL NOW....

I would NEVER let Dwarf Wedge Mussels get all dried up and hard like that; they're TOO GOOD in a garlic butter sauce over Linguini. These "beans" I'm pretty sure would not taste the same.

Hi Brachy,

I thought that the channelizing streams issue was put to bed.

But, seeing as you brought it up again, you need to get your facts straight.
The channelization that took place on the upstream border of the Delaware River Club Campground is part of the Delaware River Club Campground. The downstream bank of the channelized stream is in fact part of the Campground property.

I now do believe that both Al Caucci and manager Jeff White were unaware of the work being done on the DRC property. Seems unbelievable, since much of the rock for the project had been stockpiled at the site for many weeks before the project was started.

Could have been for preventive measures. I also know that before the last flood, Twin Islands Campsite had a stockpile of their own boulders. Unfortunately, they waited to long to move them into place and now they have nothing but land. Also, (off topic) the Twin Islands Campsite is up for sale now.

An interesting historical read to say the least!!!

I believe that my work and the work with my friend Peter K. had a profound positive impact on the Delaware flows and releases.

Would I do it again, probably not, it was ten years of my life that I could have fished a lot more!!!

Read some other posts and I will explain some of the positive and negative impacts we have seen over the years.

By the way, I see you never did answer the compelling question about who indicted me as getting paid by the DRBC. Statute of limitations probably now protects you from any sort of libel case!!!! lol

As stated by me ten year ago, I will always strive to answer respectful questions!!

The program official from Department of Interior in Reston, VA informed me via a phone call that you were hired to run the software. Obviously, this conversation was held over 8 years ago, just before my trip to Tennessee to close a deal with the Department of Navy for a contract to support personnel recruitment. So, to answer your question, I only stated what a DOI program official disclosed to me. Do you still have a contract to run this model?

This reminds me of a sign in a shop window near the entrance: "If you break it, you own it..."

Actually my 3 sons fish with me all the time now, and my wife floats with me occasionally. As a matter of fact my two older boys catch more fish in a week than you do all season! Using Dries BTW.Actually now that I think about my youngest who's only 8 probably catches more fish than you do.

The water was and is cold on every river including the freestones Sherlock Holmes , that is due to very cool weather with almost freezong temps at night

I did fish last night BTW, pretty good night despite the wind.

Like I said I don't fish during a bright sunny day, and I wouldn't fish the WB memorial weekend.What you don't get is I could fish whenever and wherever I want.I don't have to make plans, I just go.

Actually CTobias, I sold my Hyde boat to a retired Jersey guy many moons ago.

However, I am offering to share my drift boat rental with you in early June - no strings attached - as one fly fisherman to another. Let me know if your schedule permits during May 31st thru June 5th. After all - it is a gentleman's sport.

I prefer to fish into the late hours to hit the last hatches and spinner falls. PM me if interested.
