I thought about this and have decided that I'm going to update this software (to a new format, different forum software) within the next few weeks. During the upgrade, we may be down for a slight amount of time. The forum will most definitely change and it may not be what you're used.

It's time to upgrade and bring the old school style of forums back. I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do here. I think it's a good move.

There are a few reasons... First, this forum runs on PHP and MySQL. I got pretty damned good with both pieces of software for quite some time. It's been years since I've updated this place. It looks stale and not very appeasing. Upgrading will help me to hone in on my skill set and potentially learn something new and keep my brain activated.

It seems there is still a following for boards like this. Giving this place a face lift will either entice people to come or scare all 4 of you away for good! Either way, for a small price, I get to learn something new.

Good for you. Some boards are still popular, I think social media has reached its peak and is a turn off to many.

Indeed... I've been working with my host over the past few days to ensure that the server can handle the new software. THey've been very good working with me. I can't wait!

Awesome! How about a banner for your restoration work? Once I figure out how to put that up, I'll include it in the rotation! Get me a photo that you want with the business details and I'll get it up at soon as I figure this new system out.
