Official NEFF pot stirrer
Being a respected authority in fly fishing has it perks. Today Redington sent me a pair of their sonic pro zip front waders. They asked that I post a honest review and this i shall do. The first thing i noticed was they had a lot of extra features not found in other waders. The Sonic pro has a total of five pockets 1 internal 2 external and 2 hand warmer pockets. Not that I like to stuff my waders with gear but handy non the less. The hanging loop is an extra touch and nice feature, I usually have to hang my present waders by the suspenders. The Sonic Pro comes with a net storage bag and a nice wide wading belt that does not slip through the belt loops. The gravel guards are not neoprene and I find gravel guards on the nylon variety to be not as form fitting an functional as neoprene. The seems are not stitched but welded so time will tell if this technology is as good as they say it is. These waders are made in China (along with everything else). I did find the anti skid dots on the neoprene booties to be of no value and my feet never had a problem slipping around in wading boots. The fit is a little big. I ordered a Med Short and compared to Simms med short the Sonic Pros are cut bigger. I did find evidence of an ex-government employee involvement in manufacturing these waders. It is the bottom sentence on the white inside label. See if you can pick
