The minutiae of winter....

lightenup

A fan of Boobery
I find in winter, fish are more willing to eat a small morsel than a large meal....so my preparation for fishing small rivers in the NJ winter begins...
a Griffith's gnat(sparsely hackled), a pheasant tail(a necessity), and a zebra midge(these always work)........and a hook with a holographic tinsel body and tail, and peacock, bead head...
I haven't tied in five months....this was fun, and challenging........ I really want to start working on the salmon flies again, but my materials are still mostly packed away...

Just a reminder, when you take pics of your pocket change, please make sure you take the pocket lint off of them. You left some on the pics of the pennies you wanted to show us
