If any of you shooters are interested in supporting the Green Village Fire Department, I will be setting the targets for their Annual Fall Blast and Pig Roast on Sunday, October 26. Walk-ins are welcome, no pre-registration is required.

No, it's something I set up on property they own in Green Village. I have been doing their shoots twice a year, spring and fall, for about ten years now. It's a combination of manual and automatic traps. I set seven stands for 50 targets and after the first 50 I reset the traps and stands for the second 50. There is coffee, doughnuts and bagels before, hamburgers and hot dogs for between the halves and a pig roast at the end.

$10.00 from each entry is put into a prize money pot and I figure up the breaks in classes and how deep each class is paid in prize money. I try to spread as much of the money out to pay even some of the bottom shooters. There are no ties in this payout. I use a long run to break the ties.
The Lewis Cash Option is an additional $10.00 that goes into a separate pot and the money is distributed under the Lewis Classification System. There are ties in this payout and when there is a tie, the money is split.
