Thought all of the fishing shows were over? Sunday February 23rd Shannon's Fly and Tackle will once again be hosting the Sparse Grey Matter Fly Tying Gathering at the Califon Firehouse here on Main Street in Califon, New Jersey. Tyers from around the region converge to spin a few flies and exchange a few stories. GLoomis fly rods and Regal Vise will be in attendance. We co-sponsor the event with Dette's Flies of Roscoe, New York. Admission is free. Califon Volunteer Fire Department will have food and beverages available for purchase and the event runs from 10am until 4pm.
