Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Poor Catskill Mtn Man gets abused for showing a 14" wild brown, but we've all caught smaller. Let's see those photos we all wish never existed. Here's mine - sulphur hatch on the SBR.

we r gunna need a bigger boat.jpg

To make matters worse, at the hookset, that poor little ba$tard wound up 30' in the trees and died. It rose after I drifted my dry over another feeding fish just below it which was a very large wild brown, so when you see the fly disappear you're only thinking of setting on a nice fish. Crappy old cell phone picture.

Here are 3 that I have. The brookie was caught on the South Branch, the Brown was caught on a PA spring creek and the smallmouth was caught on the Pompton River while I was testing Atlantic Salmon flies. Note the Ally Shrimp is about 1/3 the size of the fish itself. Those smallies are so aggressive. The small trout have such vibrant color!

All three of your fish could have eaten mine...

I prefer to catch the guys that eat those small ones rusty thus securing the fact that there is no chance of catching a small one unless it is the target fish and always on a dry fly..This one oddly enough on your name sake a rusty spinner size 14... :)

I thought you had some place to be today...
Good choice though... I shot that big tom... ;)

Nice job! I heard one bird gobble from the roost twice at a very long distance. In spite of closing that distance by at least half, he never made a sound again after flying down. Birds here have been very quiet this week:crap:

hunting via the crossbow this year, although over 450' from any houses not comfortable with blasting off a round of 3.5" #4 shot, I saw 5 gobblers on saturday, all very nice, one of which was about 40 yds out, wasn't a very clear shot so I passed. I had them gobbling back all morning.

Here's a beast from the upper Willowemoc..

Must have taken at least 50 yards of backing off my 8wt.

Gotta love it! Only on NEFF do you have trout fishermen arguing over who has the littlest dink. :2hammers:

ED!!! Good to hear from you bud!

I don't know Ed...my eyes aren't what they used to be...but that looks more like one of those fatheads Dean sells at Stokes Sports Shop than a trout.

How have you been?
