Sage ESN 11' 3Wt - Unregistered warranty card

Mail

looking for walter
Bought this rod from Drew at Tightlines in June, used it under 10 times and was too lazy to register the warranty so it will come with a blank card. Rod is in good shape and was only used with nymphs so the rod tip was never smacked with a size 2 articulated streamer.

The length of the rod is awesome for nymphing and the rod's design really allows you to feel every nibble and bump.

When I first got the rod i was worried that it wouldnt have the back bone to fight larger fish on it yet I had no issue landing fish up to 24 inches on it. It honestly does a better job fighting fish than my Helios 2 9' 5wt and my Scott A4 10' 4wt.

If interested you can text me at 862-371-6181 I am willing to drop it off at your place or we can meet somewhere and fish!

how much $$ ??

Somewhere in the 550 range, rod had little use and an unregistered warranty. 700 new.

That's a tough one to let go of. Did you go full Czech retard with it?? That's a pretty specific tool I love that rod to death, it's almost unfair what you can do with it.

and Ill vouch for its back bone, the butt sec is half again as big as a 6wt one and can handle just as much. That rod absorbs everything ANY fish can throw at it. My son played giant browns with that rod in the wind River canyon were locals fish 20lb test against 30" fish.

I think your crazy to let that rod go but good luck with the sale.

How was wind river canyon? I have heard that it is absolutely spectacular. We're you guys able to walk in or did you have to float because as far as I recall it runs right through the Indian Reservation.

I am trying to piece some money together for wheels and tires for a jeep, it's hard to do on a part time grocery store cashier salary. I find the Scott can do 75 percent of the sage.

Bought a permit from the reservation, walked in. Only one operation allowed to float it, Native Americans.

some of the best scenery in the state and the fishing was crazy. Big big fish.

TR is on the way

Yeah there is a guy on Instagram by the name of catfishric who posts photos of nasty Browns all the time and he is one of the guys who can guide there. Those big Browns are more willing to smack a streamer when they recieve such little pressure compared to a River like the yellowstone.

Please post some pics so we can see the condition of the rod.
