The State of Delaware, the State of New Jersey, the State of New York, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the City of New York announce two upcoming FFMP Listening Sessions that are intended to solicit feedback on the FFMP from a broad cross section of interested parties.

I was supposed to speak, but now can't with the impending surgery. Agust Gudmundsson and Rich Thomas from NJTU will cover our issues from a down-river standpoint. FUDR and the TU Delaware committee will cover the up-stream flow issues. With Croton about to come online, NY City knows they need to give the big D more water since they won't need nearly as much. IMO, that is why the big-wigs are coming out to listen this time.

So you foresee a better future for the Delaware system, from a trout fisherman's POV?

If and only if NY City relinquishes some of the water they clearly do not need for their supplies now that Croton is coming on line by years' end. The extra water that is available would significantly increase trout habitat in the upper D without endangering water supplies for the Big Apple. We still need to convince them that there is ample water for any and all NYC needs and that today is not the first day of the historic drought of record which is how they manage their reservoirs and always have.
