Poconos

Headed to the Poconos, Lake Harmony area, next week. How are the conditions? I've heard there was a heatwave and so drought conditions. Plan is to fish Hickory, Mud and Toby. Any advice? And yes I know about the snakes & bears.

I'd be less worried about the snakes and bears and more worried about a drive by shooting by the riffraff...

I'm all set for the drive by's as well. They take the same round as a bear. As for the beaver, I had a dream when i was 15 yrs old about getting killed by a beaver. Woke-up and the sheets were wet.

Native Brookie from Mud Run in Hickory State Park. Only fished for about 4hr the whole vacation but was given the ok to purchase a 3-day license. Been married to the same woman for 15yrs, still have not figured out her motives and agendas.

Still cool to down right cold in the morning, so snakes wont be a problem. Streams are in good condition.

I made it out yesterday afternoon. Landed one good rainbow, A nice buck with a hook jaw. (left my camera at home) two that spit the fly at my boots. That is the price of no barbs and small flies. No fish on the surface all on nymphs. But for few hours it was a good time. I was using a Copper John and a small caddis pupa. The fish took both flies.

My first suggestion would be for you slip off the skirt and take your pants back.
