Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

ever get used due to my crazy schedule even though I have the Susquehanna right in my front yard and the West Branch a few minutes away. I found this on Craigslist and thought it was pretty cool . I actually paid for it a few weeks ago, but picking it up this weekend .
I never seen one before. It’s basically a cataraft/ pontoon boat but with rotomolded kayaks ( bi-yaks)as the pontoons. It’s definitely a drinking mans vessel , it comes with 4 built in coolers! Lol. I think they only made them from 1999 to the mid 2000’s. It’s called a Bi-Yak Guide boat, it seems pretty tough and sturdy and hard to destroy, good for low water conditions , or when your brother in law wants to borrow
A boat and you don’t want him to smash up your fiberglass drift boat lol!
The person I bought it from is a pretty cool guy, was a guide on the West Branch years ago, lives in Ct. now and fishes a lot for Stripers etc. He builds wood drift boats too and paints incredible
Wildlife / Fly fishing oil paintings which is his main source of income
Now after beating cancer, and shutting down his antiques business. He’s down sizing
For an eventual move out West , that’s why he put this up for sale.
We’re planning a trip together this spring on the Delaware.
I like the boat, but hate the name “Bi-Yak” , they could
Of picked a better name. I’m going to add a diamond plate floor
And front and back casting braces and a new rowing seat and should be good to go . I just bought the boat , not the trailer, I already had a trailer for it. It comes with 3 cataract oars too . I was talking with Dave from Project healing waters at the Edison show and hope to put together a trip or two this year if I can. Something I’ve wanted to get involved with for a while, have to find the time this year. 935891DE-CC1B-44A7-A79A-460C3D5FF2ED.jpeg

Why wait for the spring? It's going to get up to 25 in Hancock this coming weekend. Does that come with an ice chopper?

That particular boat wouldn't work for me. I like to get up and walk around a little or sometimes on the hottest days I lay back and catch a tan. :)

No ice chopper, but was thinking about a small jet drive for the Susquehanna. Maybe a big fan in the back and make it into an air boat
And dominate the flotilla on the West Branch in May!lol!
As far as laying out and suntanning , did you not see those big flat
Spaces on top of those coolers on each yak? Perfect for a lounge chair.
You and Beetle would have your own sides to chill in your Mankini’s
Waiting for the evening hatch, Beetle thrilling you with all his cuckholding
Fantasy’s and expounding the evils of capitalism! It would be the perfect upgrade vessel for Beetle, from a Kayak to a mighty Bi- Yak! He could pack enough provisions in the coolers to row to Cuba if Trump gets re elected ....
If he has a big enough down payment , I might do a “ buy here , Pay here” on it . The a Bi-Yak might be the next big thing with millennials
, first the “civil war beards” ( trying to look like your 43 when your 23) then the flat brimmed (duck head ) trucker
Hats , then the sling pak ( man purse) , then “ Tenkara” (Dabbing),
And finally the mighty Bi-Yak ! I’m sure I’ll be getting offers on it from
moosekid ... It would look awesome next to the tee pee!!Lol!

All kidding aside , Dave gave me a great deal on it, it would cost me more to
Buy the 3 cataract oars then I paid for the boat with the oars. I do hate the
name Bi- Yak though !lol!
