I heard there's some great trout fishing in the upper Hudson. The Hudson Gorge to be exact. Any truth to that?

TT, it was very romantic actually


As far as trout im not really sure. Its mostly class IV and V waters in the gorge so it probably keeps most away. Its also pretty secluded, no roads nearby really. There are dam releases like every other day so water level and temp would def be in favor of trout. I did see a few dudes fishing downstream from the gorge but all they mentioned was smallmouth fishing
