Urinals have been installed. Mike Valla and Doctor Alan Fried are just the latest donors contributing to the bathroom fixtures; each donated a urinal. Of course they will be recognized with a little brass plate mounted above the urinals. The CFFCM is wrapping up the remodeling job in the Paul Dahlie Education Center. A portion of the proceeds from The Classic Wet-Fly Box Ltd. Edition Hardcover version is being put to good use. What better use of $$ than a new head. There were only 125 signed and numbered hardcover Limited Edition versions ( museum fundraiser). There is also a less expensive soft-cover version.

NEW Mike Valla Limited Ed. Fundraiser Book "The Classic Wet Fly Box" in Collecting and Tying Classic Flies Forum

That's great Mike! A sense of humor keeps this fly fishing stuff in perspective. Those "purer than thou" and fly fishing as a mystic, sacred art attitudes can get stale.

Hopefully we will get to see each other at the show. See if your book signing can get the line to go around the hall for a third year in a row.

Jeff, thanks for the reply. I also hope to to see you, as usual, at Somerset. I think they have me down for an early book signing slot Saturday/Sunday.

However, Stackpole Books (I'm back with that publisher--they did the "Catskills" book) is having their own signing session, at their own booth that will be there this year. They've asked me to tie and sign at their booth. Not sure what time.

I'm not really into tying flies at shows (too many people to catch up with--like you,) but was thrilled Stackpole asked me to sign/tie at their booth. Occasionally, I'll tie at the museum (like about once every 5-6 years), so stop by--and you can watch me wrap.
