So, I don't believe in all this hocus pocus and alien monster stories, but I was channel surfing this morning and saw a guy flyfishing, so I waqtched the channel. Turns out it was an American Monsters show that had these two stories about the Mantis man on the Musconetcong in Stevens state park.....Never heard of this before, have any of you? Have you seen the terrifying "MANTIS MAN"!!!:crap:

Weird NJ! I never heard of the monster but there are some interesting posts on the web. Where I am in NW Jersey we have the “Hooker Man” (nothing to do with prostitution) and of course Bigfoot. They were both featured on a show hosted by Leonard Nimoy over 20 years ago.

It's a local legend here in Flanders. I live less than a mile from the RR tracks where the Hookerman supposedly haunts the tracks at night. In our 20 1/2 years here, there have been zero sightings (I know shock and surprise). But same goes for Mantis Man.
