Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Around here I definitely find my self on the left of the crowd. Which is a bit weird as I love freedom and support responsible gun ownership. I just can't stand getting lumped in with these pro bear morons. The comments in this article from the Record about bear problems in NJ lately are priceless. I think our dumbest member is way above these geniuses. They're not liberal, they're stupid.

The anti bear hunters out there are a special breed of ignorant, especially in this state! I have been face to face with many at various public meetings and they just will never get it. Once you assign human emotions to wild animals, let alone apex predators like the black bear, you're lost for good.

They also NEVER have any realistic plans to deal with black bear problems. It's always, "we moved into their habitat and this is our fault!". Oh really? Humans don't belong here? Did we fall from outer space? Or, "we must tranquilize them and move the problem bears". To where??? Will the folks that live wherever you plan to transport them enjoy having aggressive/problem bears dumped in their laps? Or, my personal favorite, "we must give male bears vasectomies". Now that is one I think the antis should take on themselves. I just hope someone is there to video tape it :)

I grew up in this area, in the 50s & 60s.
There were no bears (maybe 2 or 3 in Sussex County).
These are immigrant wetback bears that crossed the river from PA, eating our deer, and squatting in our habitat....
Next, they'll be taking our jobs. :crap:
