Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Last fly swap was....

Now, I'm doin' a little reading between the lines here, but, what I think
Pete here is saying, is that everyone who sent flies to Tom should meet up at LU's McDonald's, distribute pitchforks and clubs with nails through them, and head on over to Tom's (cause I believe Pete is right on the money) and take care of your business... that is, if Tom is not already dead or otherwise "incapacitated".

Right, Pete?

I'm looking forward to reading the thread about this on Monday morning...

In an earlier post some frustration was expressed because no one seemed to have his phone number.
That person may be under the impression that there's such a thing a privacy on the internet.

I was NOT suggesting any thoughtless behavior, when the grieving widow (or caregiver) answers the phone.
Having said that, I was unable to find an obituary, but maybe I didn't try hard enough.

My bad...
Thoughtless behavior... I thought this came quite easily to many of the posters here at NEFF...
:)

I still have not received my flies....anyone hear from this boob ever again? Or did he meet some unfortunate demise?

Well, hopefully something happened to him, I hate seeing people lose flies over nothing. lol I guess that's another spin we can put on it! :)

It's still early on, but I think it's safe to say that there are more flies-in-waiting than ever before. We had over 1,000 people register for our last fly swap, and that was before we even opened up!

If you're interested in participating in our next swap, here's a quick rundown of what you'll need:

-A tied fly (you can use your own pattern or one of ours)

-An unspoiled fishing hook or two (you can get them at most grocery stores)

-A pair of scissors (or something sharp that doesn't break)

That's it! It's super easy—just find a place to sit down with some friends and make some flies.

Nice, now can you say that in English?

I don't know, Pete. He had me at "Unspoiled fishing hook" but even more interesting was, I pair of scissors or something sharp that won't break (You know... When you're clipping your CDC)!

His IP address was listed 73 times in the "StopFourmSpam" database.
That's actually unusual for a US IP, but he may have been spoofing it.
