Hello,
I'm working towards a material substitution with John Collin's original Baby Sculpin pattern. He used a type of craft yarn. I'm using two strands of variegated chenille with one strand of crystal chenille, spun to create a uniform underbody. The taper going forward is from the use of a glass rattle underneath.
Materials:
1. Allen B200 Size 2 Streamer Hook
2. Tail- Spirit River UV2 black/olive rabbit strip
3. Body- Variegated Chenille twisted with crystal chenille
4. Dorsal Fins- Spirit River UV2 rabbit strip
5. Flymen Sculpin helmet
Occasionally, I also put a tiny clump of Bruiser Blend or John Rohmer Mega Simi Seal dubbing right behind the sculpin helmet, also in olive.
