Both. Not enough of either.... Nothing beats bird hunting with a good dog. Got two pheasants this morning, by 7:45. Would like to do more deer hunting too. Nice thread DD Luver.

I've been hunting hard this fall so far. Bow for deer in NJ and PA and grouse and woodock over my Brittany in PA. Tomorrow I'm taking my 12 year old daughter out for pheasants over the dog and then I'll climb in my bow stand and hold out for a decent buck or another mature doe. Next Friday I leave for Camp Yellow Snow in Potter (PA) for rifle season and the following week is NJ's 6 day deer and bear shotgun season.

I can never get enough time in the woods or on the water! Limited out too quickly yesterday on pheasants. Dog slammed on point twice in the same field and we were done early. I didn't make it out today with the bow, but will bow hunt for a couple hours at some point tomorrow. Pheasant again early Tuesday morning with a newbie hunter and fishing buddy. Then PA early Friday for small game for 2 days followed by rifle season the Monday after Turkey Day.

Great Muley, good luck if you go out for muzzle loader good luck chasing whitetails. I love both hunting and fishing, spring gobbler in the morning till noon and then trout till dark, com fall I havent done archery as much as i used to.Kinda hard to sit up in a tree when it's so nice an the colors are out,when i can be out chasing Salmon,Steelhead,Lake Run Browns, or local big trout on the feed. love chasing grouse especially after xmas.
