Hey.
Some guys on another forum I stalk do a hook buy every year. If you buy in quantities of 500 or 1000, you can get hooks super cheap. Basically, i'm writing to see if I should jump in on their hook buy, or if we should start our own. I'd obviously need to do some research on reputable hook vendors and make like a google doc where people can populate the sizes/styles they'd be interested in -- but that'll come later, once I know enough people are interested.
The hook buy would work like this. You paypal the money to beetle and the hooks will be shipped to one of his PO boxes. He will then, in a timely fashion, ship them to you. Everybody wins.
Also, has anyone ever bought hooks in bulk?? Do you know a good website?? Otherwise I'll probably just order from the same website that the minnesota guys order from.. Or if nobody wants in i'll just join their crew.
