Hook and hackle Xi 2 wt.

Was wondering if anybody has had experience with H&H's 6'6" Xi 2 weight.

I don't. My experiences with them as a company have been positive and I have purchased several rod blanks from them when i first started building, but none were the Xi series.

I now primarily build Sage rods for myself. It's been almost a year since I have built one! Holy crap, what rod do I "need"? I do have an 8wt and 10wt Sage Xi2 blank in my closet, but haven't had a need to build them yet.

Better late than never...

I am just starting to build my own rods. Just recieved a couple cheapie blanks from ebay. I found a lot of good info over in the www.rodbuildingforum.com A lot of guys building on all sorts of blanks. I would like to get good enough to start building some nice Sages for myself. I had a Sage Zaxis custom built this spring and figured I would try at it my self.
