HELP - Site won't load.

LyNcH

Dries, wets, nymphs and streamers...it's all good!
Last night I was writing a rather lengthy PM and then clicked send, but my screen froze. Since then I have not been able to get neff to load and receive a message on Chrome and IE that the site is down. Obviously It's not as I am on it using my droid. I have cleared all cookies, cache etc, still wont load. All other sites are fine. Any ideas?

Should have bought a Mac!

Is your message box full? try clearing some of he messages. Your only other hope is to kiss DC's rear end and hope he steps in to help

:guns:

I would rather down the extra $1500 on a nice 2 man pontoon.

Now that I have a headache, I am back on.

The problem was not my PC at all. It's the new router I bought a few months ago, the Linksys WRT310N. I re-installed, reset, went through troubleshooting and all and it is blocking this site no matter what I try. I hook up my older WRT54G and have no problems.

Any suggestions?

Is this a rhetorical question?

1. New router does not work
2. Old router works

:)

Could have something to do with the hideous photoshop attempt that has become your avatar.

Don't buy a smart router...smart phones are bad enough.

A few weeks ago I was having problems with site lag and bouncing around. DC suggested I delete the cache (which I had already done). I googled it and I selected a program off the Microsoft site. Ran it and no problems since.

A) put your POS router on a lamp timer so it shuts itself down and reboots every day
B) go to your wireless adaptor's manufacturer website and get the latest drivers. If you have an Intel wireless card in your laptop simply load Intel's driver software and allow it to update.
C) flash the router firmware with the realdeal: Router Database | www.dd-wrt.com

I struggled with a WRT600N for over a year until I found wireless nirvana at DD-WRT. They don't make it very easy to wade through all the bulshit, but their stuff works (x10).

Thanks for the info. Although I wouldn't consider myself a tech geek, I used to build my own computers and flash the motherboard the old fashion way. I will check out dd-wrt today and see what they have. At this point the router is worthless to me and I already threw the box away so I can't return it. I have nothing to loose.
