Wednesday---usually the best day of the week to fish the ds. where would you guys go?
a) upper East Branch
b) lower East Branch
c) upper West Branch
d) lower West Branch
e)Main Stem
f) other...

Just to be clear, both uppers and lowers are downstream of the dams...


Hopefully, i won't have to dodge lightning bolts...

I would go to the mainstem, where the water should be a little warmer.The flows are low, you should be able wade around pretty good. Good luck.

Lower West was the winner today.

LOTS of caddis with just a smattering of the other usual suspects.

NOT much in the way of rises, though my buddy did well swinging wets...

I was on the water yesterday too -- short float from about 1 - 7p.

7 or 8 fish, but most of them dinks. only 2 picture-worthy fish and even on the smaller side for picture-worthy. Like 16 and 17 inches.

Caught one on a blue quill emerger, one on a hendrickson dun, the rest on caddis emergers.

The important question here is what kind of beer cans? Quality brew I hope? A day on the river calls for quality brew at a minimum (even if you’re wading).
