Grey Scud?

NJDrew

Pro Tippet Destroyer...
I found this guy at KLG yesterday and figured it is a grey scud, but wanted to be sure:

Drew,

Sure looks like it.

PHOTO TIP:
If you are going to photograph a nymph, scud, or any stage of an insect that should be underwater try and put a few drops of water on it to create a "bubble." That way things are not all stuck together. Legs, gills, etc. stay extended making ID much easier and a nicer looking photo with better colors.

Thank you for the tip. This is my first water insect shot. I have a few more, but the quality isn't as good. He is wet in this one, but there is a glare from the flash:

Drew-

Probably Gammarus fasciatus (Gray Freshwater Scud).
