TCO fly shop takes provides all gear and food, and takes a cut of the guide fees for the day. I believe AJ runs his own show and don't know what is included. I personally think $350, entire balance up front, for one day of waded trout guiding is a bit high, but if that's what AJ charges, and people pay it, good for him. I don't blame Beetle for choosing not to want to pay that amount, however, he lacks the ability to respectfully say "No thank you".

I don't think AJ is getting rich at $350 a day and that seems in the ballpark for a day with a good guide (not just a local unemployed kid). Lawyers charge that per hour - expensive ones 4 or 5 times as much per hour.

Look at Aaron's resume ...... In my opinion $350 is light for a full day guiding/instruction plus flies .

Aaron's prices are on par for the industry. Beetle is willing to pay $400+ for a float trip but squawks at $350 for a full day of on water instruction? Trust me when I say it is far easier to row a boat than to spend a full day teaching technique... I am not saying that the Delaware guides dont deserve or earn their fee nor am I trying to minimize their work. They work hard and deserve fair compensation... What I am saying is that AJ's prices are fair for the amount of time and work that he will be providing. He has also built a reputation for himself that warrants a premium..
As for being rude, that just may be a consequence of your internet personality..
Since you have probably burned the AJ bridge with this post..Try to schedule a date with George or Loren Williams... I have had the privilege of fishing with both...You will learn alot..
