fly swap?

Flys went out in the mail on Monday. One pattern, and all look different (nows your chance to get back, AK). John - send one of "nicer" ones to the Beetle. Better yet, send them ALL to the Beetle and he'll be writting up his comments for the next few months...
 
After lugging them around for more than a week and a half, they are in the mail today.

I apologize to you and the other tyers in the swap. This was an incredible week for me, Went through a layoff this week. I was one of the lucky ones that did not get laid off. Some jobs are going to be off-shored and people and some friends bought it this week. So I was a little down and then add the heat and I was not even thinking about the swap. My flies as I PM'd you are complete and done and will be in the mail for sure this week. I do again apologize for the delay to the swap. I will be sending a few other things along with the flies for you.

First, I wanted to say how proud I am of my flies.

I have mailed them in.

They will arrive tomorrow at latest.

On some, the calf hairs are brown. That's baby poo.

Can't wait to see 'em, GB. As a newbie I'm sure I will learn a lot from your techniques. One question, though, is the baby poo considered an attractant, or can it still be used on any of the rivers? Thx.
