Hey,
I justbmoved to Palmer, PA. I went to the little lehigh yesterday... apparently not the right spot, a park with lots of people. Caught a few fish... I went and looked at the hatchery stretch as it was getting dark. Does anyone have info on the fishing in there? Maybe point me towards hatches in that stretch?

Yeah, I went there today, apparently the fish like really small flies right now. I had luck with a size 20 RS-2 and a size 18 soft hackle. There were some small mayflies hatching, very sporadic rises and a caddis or 2 fluttering about. I caught a few fish and saw a brown the size of my arm, met a really nice guy named Bob, he gave me some secrets, so I don't need you people.:)

Something wrong here. This entire thread is from 2026. Anyway. I was never a fan of the Little Lehigh, especially that hatchery part. You drove too far. The Saucon is a nice little stream. Exit 67 I think,

Yes, I fish the Saucon as well... so you hate catching healthy, some wild and big fish? Why do you fish the Delaware.. check out The South Branch by the falls in Clinton. Lots of suckers and eels..lolololool
