Dryft Waders

Just curious if anyone has tried these new waders from Dryft as of yet. My brother is looking for a new pair of waders and he's looking at the zippered version. I haven't looked at the warranty yet but I find this is where some of the newer manufacturers fall short. Any thoughts.

First and foremost, if a company does not know how to spell Drift then i would move on. They look a little too Drake for me. Might be good for hipsters dufusses like Moosekid and would look good hanging outside his teepee. I saw only one review online. (thats ok, ill google it for you) the person was going up the SR in Jan and said he would post a review when he got back but never did. I have a pair of the Redingtons with the zipper and they are great when steelhead fishing and i have to drain Mr Big, I dont have to take off the layers and freeze. Other than that dont use them much in warm weather. I would spend the extra coin and get the Redingtons or Orvis. As anyone who has purchased Orvis waders knows they have a great return policy.

I never claimed my brother had good taste. Besides when did you start taking an interest in your appearance when on the river

here, I found zippered waders at LL Bean for $50 less. He can thank me by buying me a plane ticket to fish the blueberry or whatever the name of that stream was.

I am hard on equipment especially waders. I average 2 seasons out of any modern materials . I abuse my waders and pay the price for it. I have walked through brier patches. Claimed over barbed wire fences, logs in the river. All have doomed their integrity. I have carry instant cure seam seal . I have had Orvis, Patagonia, Simms, Redington. Cabalas all puncture just as well as the other regardless of the price. When I was a kid I had rubber waders they lasted a long time. I was just hard on them. They were heavy at the same time kept me dry. Has anyone abused a pair or waders and had them live up to what the manufacture claims them be? I am on a quest to find a pair as tough as brush pants but I have yet to find them.
