How many times can you get stuck in traffic ?
Me and a buddy have both caught a couple of silver(like it came from the sea), skinny, oval shaped fish in the delaware? Never seen this before any idea's anyone.
 
Thats what I thought it was

but they were all silver, mabey the juvenilles are all silver?

I'll throw out "fallfish". They are silvery(and up to like 16-20")... But I'm not sure where you were fishing or how far down the Delaware they live.

I think your correct about the fall fish there golden shiner looks just like what we have been catching. the area Titusville NJ.
 
white perch...great striper bait..put a circle hook through the nose and hang on..
 
So, which one is it? Personally, it sounds like you are catching baby herring or shad. They are all silver.
