Can't Post Photos

Anybody else having this problem? All I get is a red circle with an exclamation point.

I just want to make sure we get these issues ironed out before SSA posts his backpacking TRs so we don't have to wait a month like last time.:)
 
I had the same problem and, I think with the slow goings around here DC has gone on the cheap and the files need to be re-sized smaller.......

Ok so I just tried and got a red circle also, even on a small file.....131kb
 
DC has parental controls in place for the type of photos you want to send out sicko. That is why Pete can and you cant. We don't want to see them anyway. Macfly said the ones you sent him were disgusting but got him slightly aroused.
 
Macfly is obviously blocking posters he doesn't agree with politically. Pete's okay because he's more on the conservative side of things. LU and FIN-ITE you guys are somewhere in the middle. Me and Beetle are blacklisted for good.

I guess I'll have to keep these Hilary lingerie selfies to myself. Oh well. Your loss.

If someone can't upload a photo here, why would you assume he can figure out how do it elsewhere, and also have to figure out how to copy & paste the code?

it comes down to this: long reports with photos and good writing are not to be posted on neff, but to gb mag.

that's the policy.

You seemed to be implying that Mac is smart enough to hack the forum, (the moderator control panel doesn't give him software editing power).

I believe Pete has special permissions on the site, as a site administrator? Being serious now, no more horsing around. That's correct, right? I feel like he fixed some technical issues with the site a while back.

So if he can upload images now, and the rest of us can't, this suggests that a setting has been changed that applies to a) uploading images and b) users with regular permissions. (Moosey and SSA are hosting their photos elsewhere and just linking to them in their posts here. So it's uploading, not linking or displaying, that is the issue.)

That's all I got. Somebody with more time and less brains will have to take over from here.

Pete, how'd I do? Not bad for a stupid lib, right?

I think my comfort level with the internet is due to the fact that Al Gore invented it. Just feels natural, like driving a Prius, hugging an oak tree, or checking out Hillary in her high-waisted Hanes extra support briefs. :)

The only administrator is Dennis. Mac, and I are moderators, with very limited powers. All technical issues are addressed by the administrator.

I upload images, with the same tools that are available to everyone else (assuming they can read, and understand simple instructions, or just figure out a simple procedure).

So...if you want to post pictures...click on go advanced in the bottom right when you scroll down...then use the manage attachment button to upload them.....i am having trouble with the add picture tab, but the manage attachments worked perfectly.
