Water condition, and relative temps.
And how it's fishing.

The Analomink gauge is at the top of the public fishing and is good for most of the spots through Stroudsburg. The Minisink Hills site is at the bottom of the gorge and shows the additions of Pocono and McMichaels Creeks.

Mostly this year it has been low and cold and the hatches have been a little late and irregular, at least when I have been there. I'm hoping the rain and warm weather will supercharge the hatches. You can nymph up plenty of fish though. I'm waiting for it to pop (haven't fished there since last week - maybe it has) When the March Browns are out the fishing can be sweet and they should happen any day now.
