Best chrismas song ever?

Do They Know It's Christmas ... Band Aid :)
Well Steve, i have to agree with you. My favorite line in the song was sang by Bono: "Well tonight thank god it's them instead of you."

Anyone who believes in a god is certainly thanking that god for chosing themselves over the starving kids in africa (every time you sing along). If I were a believer of a god, I would surely be thanking him for chosing to starve children in other nations instead of myself.

So how many people are thanking god that it's them starving and not you?

I think Sam Kinison said something on this, like when there's never been any food in a location, and there's never gonna be any food in that location, then its time to move...

Yellow River by I.P. Daylee
and another classic,
Spots on the Wall by Chu Flung Pough

And although not a christmas song, I like the Adam Sandler Hanukkah songs.

So this is Christmas (war is over) by John Lennon. Its a good Christian message of peace. Of course, somewhat ironic, as John was am atheist.

And he was murdered by a born again Christian missionary.

Oh well.

Second best is paul mccartney's Christmas tune, simply having a wonderful Christmas time.

That was George.

Harrison had the first #1, sure. But, Ringo had a #1 with "Photograph" in 73 and Lennon didn't have a #1 until 80(!) with "Starting Over". In fact, Ringo had another #1 in 74, "You're Sixteen" before Lennon got off his ass 6 years later... ;) Gotta love the Ringo...
