Any Delaware Reports?

I'm heading up in a couple of days to fish the WBD and Main. I am wondering what to expect and what to tie. Published reports suggest Psuedos, Isos and some Dorthea and Caddis. Many thanks.

This past Sunday saw all the flys you mentioned, only think missing was rising fish.
If you want to throw streamers go see Bob Weir.

This past Sunday evening on the West Branch was slowwww. A few bugs and fewer rising fish. The flying ants are there but the ones I saw were real small. Like a size 24. The beaverkill had better bug action on Monday evening but with no rising fish.

Mainstem Report

Fished Stockport and Lordville on Monday in a steady drizzle. Some Iso's came off down in Lordville in the afternoon, the fish were on them for a short window, I caught a nice brown and lost another. Monday evening at Stockport there were fishing working sulphurs and olives, most were out of casting range. It was a slow day but nice to fish in the rain with nobody around. Saw one other flyfisher who caught a 17 inch brown at Stockport. Fish working Tricos on the WB in the AM too.

:guns: went to beverkill tuesday threw thursday fishing improved with the weather, got some nice browns on a #12 beatle.

Any Whitefly hatches happening in the Catskills? I haven't fished the Delaware/Beaverkill this season .. staying up north closer to home. Yesterday evening I fished the Black R anticipating the WFs at late evening. I arrived at 5pm & there were targets everywhere. Seined the water & it was loaded with #20/22 black ants with an occasional 16 flying ant with very yellowish-brown underbody. Could've sworn I'd matched that bigger ant pattern but couldnt get any takes. Tried dropping the tiniest black patterns I had but I'll be darn if I could get a take. All I could think is they were gulping gobs of those ants at a time & I couldnt compete. I'm open for suggestions on what to do with this situation In case I go back tonight or tomorrow & see the same thing...
Anyway, had to think out of the box & ended up using a sulphur emerger to hook 2 small ones. Then, the White flies appeared. Spinners.. the emergence must've been over in this area. I dropped a WF spinner off the White Wulf & they took the spinner every time. Had to put it right on top of them as soon I saw the rise because it seemed they wouldn't move out of their lane. Managed 3 over 18" and a smaller pair. Broke off a dandy that might've been 20+.

DC,

To answer your question........"not too good".....been doing a lot of crying, sobbing, throwing a lot of things around the living room, not washing my underwear...etc.....you get the picture. This all began ever since that little flood back in June.....hmm......CDun.
