Let's get one started! Let's use an open theme of " Favorite Fly". First 12 to sign up are in. If we have more, let's run a second right on the heels of the first. Once we get a full list, we'll set a due date for January sometime. If we get enough to run a second, we'll set an appropriate due date for those as well.

I'll copy & paste the protocols on this thread in a few minutes.

• Tie 13 of your pattern (12 for swapping and one for our <ACRONYM title="North Eastern Fly Fishing">NEFF</ACRONYM> host Dennis)<O</O
• Sign-up ends for the first when we hit 12 tiers<O</O
• Flies are due in my mailbox in Jan (exact date TBD)
• Please adhere to the deadlines.<O</O
• As soon as the swap closes, I will PM each of you with my address.<O</O
• Please PM me or post as soon as you have sent your flies in the mail.<O</O
• Mailing your flies: Use a strong (plastic) box of adequate size. Make sure the box has your name & address on it. Include a self addressed envelope & postage stamps so that I can send the swapped flies back to you.<O</O
• Toe-tag all your flies: Your Board name & Name of pattern.<O></O>
• I will photo and post the pictures of the individual flies to this thread then, send them right out to you. <O</O
• Please post the recipe so that it can be added to the fly tying database.

I will be tying a wet fly from 1854 that is one of the most affective patterns that catches fish still today. The pattern works great in the Catskills, NJ and PA from late May through September. The pattern is called Greenwells Glory. The flies are already in the vise and the first two are already tyed.

Andy, I am not even going to look up that pattern to see what it looks like.

I shall consider it a Christmas present.

It will be my one and only Christmas present I will get this year.

Now I can't wait till January 15th.
