Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
This post makes no sense to me. Do you think the responding officer would have been there in less than a minute if he had been hiding out taking a nap next to the Ramapo? Had he been taking a nap, your wife [god forbid] might not have made it. Why is it black or white? It seems to me that we...
I've never had waders wear out at the bootie, and never heard of it happening. The only thing thou might want to consider is that your boots might fit differently if the difference in bootie thickness is substantial.
What did you have luck with Dave? I fished there Sunday and did well high-sticking' nymphs. I tried a hopper/dropper rig using stimie for a while, but I wasnt feelin the love.
You dont need a trailer, although some people use them for convenience. Most breakdown into one or two luggage sized bags that could go into the truck. The more deluxe models have platforms to stand up on and cast....from my research, these start at about a grand. Beetle was just saying that...
Wow, this thread has really jumped the shark. So, what's the bottom line? Can I just use Lysol (Or the similar pool product) to clean my gear or what? I would love to find a bleach alternative.
I heard from my buddy's uncle that this fish was caught by a commerical trawler, then frozen, before Aaron "caught" it on the south branch. Apparently, Aaron later said the fish wasn't available for inspection because it was dragged off and eaten by racoons!
Nice try Aaron, but we've all...
Theyre trying to protect their livelihood so I'd be surprised if they complained if anyone used it. Still, I bought a few flies each time I stopped. If you ask me, all of the shops should have a similar set up. Its the right thing to do, and how much does a bucket and a bottle of bleach cost?
Nice running into you John, you Baboon's Ass. Glad you got into some fish. We did well in the am on the bkill, but struggled a bit in the afternoon on the WB.
Thanks for the info. Also, for those that fish the Upper Delaware system, the Baxter House in Roscoe has a cleaning station set up in their parking area. It is next to the hose on the side of the inn building. Lets all try to do our part.
So, yesterday I saw jet skis on the upper East Branch at Corbett Bridge. Well, one on the water and one on a trailer. The person on the water seemed to be just tooling back and forth in the one pool. Why waste your time with the reservoir just up the river. Anyone ever see this before?
