The key here is the culvert which offers protection and acts as a pen of sorts. Clearly, the fish was put in as a fingerling and fed daily for a few years until it was ready for its closeup. Canadians have been doing the same thing for years, but with mice and beer.

I hate to beat this to death, but it is a little crazy when you look at that map. Could there be a walking easement that's not shown? Never having trespassed on club land (to my knowledge) what happens when they catch you? Swarming security guards? Hounds released? Shots across your bow...
