Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
My wife and I floated Sat and Sunday. Big difference in the experience between the two days. Didn't really fish, but the drop in water made the trip on Sunday a little more exciting.
Saw something crazy at camp - a bunch of crows were doing their morning thing on Sat. Then WHAM! An eagle...
Very nice.
Was it the sun, temperature, wind or a combination of all? I figured Montana in August to be hot - as in short sleeves, wet wading type weather.
I'm in. Will be rollin' with Redfield Jim. Located inside a vintage steel Coleman cooler, will be a select bottle of bourbon, some excellent beers. Also bringing a plow disk wok and burner. Not sure what will be cooked on said wok yet, so before an announcement is made, I would like to talk with...
Look, Chris is a super guy to suggest the couch. Knowing he just got back from a tour, and spent some extended time away from his wife. Btw, she is pretty cool too, and fishes. I really hope you (or anyone for that matter) wouldn't want to be racking out on the couch with the Tobias'....
Maybe...
Drift boat can beer is definitely different than a camp beer. Sentimental favorites are Genesee Bock (seasonal), Pabst Blue Ribbon, and recently discovered Sierra and Avery IPAs in a can. Gotta give Dale's a try.
Back at camp, Hoptinator by Sierra, and long time go-to Victory Hop Devil.
Are you going to float or fish on foot? If you float, I highly recommend Tom Cornell at Blue Ribbon Flies. He can also guide on foot. Super guy. Friend of Nick P @ Oak.
Class act buying Pop a flight.
Missed you at Lydia's last night. The cheeseburgers were greasy as usual.
