Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
That's fishable if you pick your spots and use the right technique. I stuck and lost a pig in there a couple weeks ago when conditions were close to that.
Yeah I was doing well earlier in the summer on olive zonkers but things have really slowed down. back to the drawing board, or maybe back to the zonker.
Figured out what the torpedoes are. Giant freaking carp. Buddy hook into one that was in his backing before we could blink.
Anybody been out much lately? I've been down at scudders a fair amount and its very spotty. Usually get one fish and that's it.
Any reports? How are people doing on...
That's not an odd MO for bald eagles. That is their standard MO. They're bullies and thieves first, scavengers second and hunters third. They just look cool.
Alderfly. Maybe a dobson fly. Clearly not pteronarchyus, since its from NY.

So on Saturday evening I was at scudders falls enjoying the smallmouth action when I noticed a very large, subsurface wake screaming down stream in the main channel. I found this odd, but didn't pay much attention. Over the course of the next couple hours, this phenomenon occurred probably 20...
Eastern was supposed to be the biggest at 1000 lbs. Some reports of "lost herds" still in the wilds of Ontario. The Eastern was also supposed to have a very distinct rack. I'm a sucker for a distinct rack.
Yeah the last wild eastern elk was shot in PA in 1877. They apparently were huge. much bigger than the Rockies version. That's really cool. Can you bow hunt for them yet?
Brian-
Just a thought, but maybe you could take pictures of aquatic plant growth as well to see if that improves. IT'd be nice to see the cress beds that gave us the Musky Shrimp back again like we hear about in the legends of yore.

Nice work.
Brian- Have you been in contact with the D&R Greenway Trust here in Princeton? They're usually helpful with land preservation, either purchasing themselves or knowing someone to speak to.
