Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
Thanks for the heads up. Made it out for a couple hours and minus my guides freezing up just as I expected it was a good outing. I managed to catch two beautiful rainbows. I know this is a fly fishing forum but I did catch them on my centerpin with home made pink and white marabou jigs.
Yeah I hear ya. After seeing you post about a totaled boat I'm glad I didn't brave the roads. I'd check out the uhaul storage place on rt 13. You can probably get a good 3 month rate and you boat is kept out of the harsh weather.
Glad to hear you had a good trip. I almost left on Wednesday myself but a friend backed out and didnt want to make the trip myself while towing my boat. I am glad i didnt this time as a 9 1/2 hr trip is brutal, ive done it before.
Invest in good moisture wicking layers and top layer should be a polar fleece. Ems has some great clothes and good deals this time of the year.. and always stay away from cotton.. Cotton Kills
I was one for two. Both browns. The one I lost was a real nice one. It was a great day to be out and not many people on the water. The fish were biting but werent fully committing to strike.
Is the bottom just straight gelcoat or do you have fiberglass resin or coat it on the bottom? I reapply resin on my once a year to fix gouges and dings on the bottom and along the chine.
Look what i stumbled upon on a Salmon River guides Facebook ha ha. Out of respect for the guide i had blacked out his name. Damn that thing is tiny and would never go down the Salmon on that thing. It looks like it belongs in a bath tub. Id imagine this is from your Bash weekend.
Yeah I guess those smart phones aren't so smart all the time. Well I'm new to the whole YouTube thing so I might have done something wrong. A bunch of the fish were caught on gl beads. I sent some of the pics to Zach which he posted on his blog.
Maybe I didn't make myself clear but I'm looking to fly fish from a boat near the shore in the fall when the fish come in close. I know there out deep now but come end of Oct and November they come in shallow and that's when I want to go for them.
I am planning to fish Round Valley in the fall and was wondering what is a good fly pattern to use or technique. Ive never fly actually fished in a lake before. I use to fish it from the shore when I used bait and it was good fishing but would like to attempt it from my drift boat on a fly this...
You are a joke buddy. The friend clearly told the cop the kids situation before hand. OK so the kid made a so called abrupt movement and turned his head to the left. Putting him to the ground is acceptable by thethe cop but repeatedly punching and kneeing him is not at all. And than the rest is...
