I never used a salmon egg pattern until about 3 years ago.... i owned them but thought they were the dumbest things.... are you serious? I was thinking about an ant #12 and a BH hares ear flashback, or other on about a 12" dropper, am I on the right track?

It's all good..... anybody want to school me on fishing nymphs in a riffle? thinking about using a foam dry, even a foam terestrial or ant, with a dropper.... open to all suggestions......
