Like dwing, my brothers and I make our own landing nets. Our first net was mine and it had a traditional rubber bag. So after about a month of dragging it up and down the river, I started researching lighter bag material. I have found places to make the bags, but a minimum order is like 500 nets.

A traditional rubber bag is heavy. The newer bags (I think they are like a pvc composite) are much lighter and equally as tough. Im sure different manufacturers use different bags, but I know for sure Orvis, Brodin and Fisk (sp?) use the newer pvc bags.
