Not only is Massimo Tirocchi a really nice guy, he's an excellent rod builder. I cast his 7'9" 5wt and was amazed at the speed this rod had. No problem putting a deep load into the rod and sailing a ton of line across the parking lot. I'm not a bamboo guy and except for a Leonard 30+ years ago...
