Who doesn't have someone stored away in their sex dungeon?

Gonzo and I hit up the KLG last Saturday. Was busy in the morning, but the fishing cooled off toward the afternoon, as the temperatures dropped. Managed a couple stockies, and a nice 14" brown from some fast moving pocket water. Turned a few more fish, but couldn't get the hooksets to hold.

Gonna try to get some of both in.....

So true. You basically have to bump the fish on the nose to get them to strike, and by strike, I mean a soft, soft take. Slow, deep, and make sure to cover every inch of the pool before moving on.

It was a nice refresher. There were certain things that I had started to slack on, so it was a good watch, and a nice reminder of proper technique!

I fished a black indicator beetle on the B-kill last year, with much success some days. It was later in the summer, but it was bringing them in on every other cast. Great searching pattern, and the hi-vis orange dot is easy to see.

I could use some tepid weather....not hot, not cold....tepid.
