I live in Monmouth County and fish mostly in the Manasquan Res. and Lake Assunpink. I grew up fishing in South Louisiana and have been here for about 20 years. I'm a die hard Bass fisherman (mostly bait casting) and have used a fly rod quite a lot as such. I have just this past year gathered some new equipment and want to try my hand at both trout and salt water with a fly rod. Looking forward to learning some new tricks and catching some new fish.

Hi there Alpster,
Welcome aboard! Living in Monmouth you are close to several great saltwater fly rod locations.
