    Delaware River Map

With the post on the beaverkill map, I thought I would post a Delaware River map I put together a few years back for those who have requested one in the past.

Nothing grows faster than a fish between the time the fish takes your fly...and the time he gets away.

Ditto, great map! You wouldn't happen to have the WB or EB on your to do list would ya'?

I'd love to see a map with the "local" angler's names of the pools and flats, etc. Does one exist?

Like the Comparadun pool? Christ, that would be the entire length of the D.

My first time fishing the river a few years ago, the guide had a name for every spot we hit. Bard Parker, Junction Pool, Buckingham, Stockport, several others too.

Jim Serio of Gray Ghost Guides (web site was down when I checked) sells folde maps of the WB, Main Stem and Beaverkill with all that information. I think they're $6-$8....

I've also seen them in the fly shop that sits on the WB at Hancock right over the bridge...

    Hi guys,

My website is being revamped so I can sell maps and flies!!

    Should be up soon.

Our maps are 7 inches high and 20 inches long, printed on both sides and coated with a laminate to make them nearly waterproof.

Maps are available at many shops. Ramsey Outdoors has them.

I can send you maps also.

    West Branch Delaware
    Lower East Branch Delaware
    Upper East Branch Delaware
    Beaverkill
    Upper Main Stem Delaware

Others that will be available soon: Housatonic, Ausable, Willowemoc, West Canada Creek, Penns Creek and others.

Maps sell for $5.95 each and the current 5 maps set is $24.95. That includes postage to mail them.

See the attached scanned piece of the West Branch.

Maps have most of the accesses as well as tips and hatch cjharts for each river.

The maps also have the names of pools and riffles.

I even tell you what rock to stand on!@! Well almost!!

Until the site is up, feel free to send me an email with an order or call (607.637.3474) and I will send your maps out in time for opening day.

I fished for an hour this afternoon and did not get anything, but there were a few rises to early black stones on the West Branch.

    See ya,

    Jim
