Covid relief
Well I'll kick off the Covid-19 social distancing from last Sunday. I headed out to a NJ WTS that I fished in early December and didn't do doodely squat at that time but the water as I remembered from years back should have a good number of BT. I tied on my favorite attractor dry Humpy in color Fl. pink and started to work my way upstream. For about the first half hour or so I had no takers, but as soon as the sun got high enough to warm the ravine the fish started to cooperate.
Here is a real nice BT about 11-12 inches.
To my surprise the RT to BT ratio was probably about 60/40. Here is a nice fatty about 12 inches.
And this fish was taking midges on top and absolutely slammed my Humpy on the first drift over it.
At the end of a couple hours of great fishing I probably landed over two dozen fish from the same waters that skunked me late last year.
And here is the well worn Humpy that did all the heavy lifting.

Off topic:
Dennis, the above post is another one that went into the "moderation Queue" for no apparent reason. It was sheer coincidence that I was here at the time, and could approve it quickly.

Re: Covid relief
As an old fart, with a compromised respiratory system, I had myself on lockdown.
But today I had to make a decision. I had a choice... Run out of meds, or take a chance of getting the mother of all colds.
I was getting short on food, but could have lasted another week.
I chose, breathing, peeing, and not having a stroke..
I just got back from Shop-Rite.
I now know why the hospitals are running out of masks and gloves.
The people who patronize Shop-Rite of Oakland have them all.

Re: Covid relief
Hi, My wife has me on lock down also. The only thing I can do is tie flies and mow the lawn, oh and walk down to the mailbox. I would love to be out fishing now but living in Manahawkin it’s a hike to get to any stream like the SB or the Musky. So all you people that are out fishing keep up with the posts so I can pretend it’s me fishing and not you. Thanks, Bill the mailman

Re: Covid relief
Likewise, but I might try to venture out and get some fishing in. Anyone know a good divorce attorney in SJ?
I know several, but it can get pricey. The good side is you can go fishing whenever you want.

Shop Rite of Oakland is the last grocery store I'd visit especially these days.
