There's not much activity on this site, but I fish this stream almost every day. Here's a report:
As of last week (4/10/20), trout have been cycling through zebra midges and caddis nymphs, favoring the caddis.
If the fish are hitting the surface, which they have been on the warmer days, your best bet for success is a stimulator or caddis dry. That being said, if you look up and see a mayfly hatch, try a BWO and you won't be disappointed.
As far as I can tell, hook size is irrelevant, being I've successfully fished 16's all the way up to 22's.
Streams are mobbed with isolationists... beware. There are not many places you can go without bodies on the water. Your best bet is to park where ever you normally park, then find your way to lesser-known holes. Break out of your comfort zone and you might be surprised.
If you want more reviews, longer ones, reply to this post so I know I'm not wasting my time writing it.

I've heard reports of a strong bee hatch on the Flatbrook recently.
Can you confirm?
Lacey: Where'd you get that pistol?
Blevins: At the gettin' place.

Re: Big Flatbrook Review
I was gonna say, the bee hatch sounded like a blinker fluid issue on my car...
I live on the Flatbrook and fish it like its going out of style. I've been wanting to head to PA to try out Bush Kill. Currently working from home. Come May, I'm going to drive around a bit. I'll add more reviews of different streams then!

Re: Big Flatbrook Review
I hit the Flatbrook before it got stocked heavily and banged some holdover bows below the club water on Hendrickson dries during a fantastic hatch for that mayfly. I was planning to go back, but the state stocked the lower river where I was fishing and the googans came out in force to catch finless 10" mutant stockers. I want none of that....

Re: Big Flatbrook Review
. If you are getting a Pa. liciense fish the Lackawaxen from thebrige up stream to Molly’s poolpParking is hard to find but there are places. You can go up pass Molly’s and park by the graveyard. Walk through the graveyard to the river it is a great area to fish and not a lot of people want to walk through the yard. I always did great on the Lacky with a Olive Gray caddis in a size 16 with deer hair wing and a dark dun hackle. Good luck, Vance
