    Hi from another NY'er

    Hi Everyone,
My name is Glenn, I live in Manhattan. I've been fishing for over 40 years but I'm just getting into fly fishing this year since I'll be spending much more time around Sullivan, Ulster and Delaware counties. I'm also new to fly tying which I really enjoy but to be honest, nothing beats the worms I keep in my Hills Brothers coffee can

Hi Glenn, I was a late bloomer as well with the flies, always thought the guys fly fishing were snooty jerks.....well, that hasn't changed, I have just become one of the snooty jerks, been at it about 14 years now and never looked back.....I won't fish a fly I didn't tie, unless it's from a swap, or Grobert..... Watch out for Macfly, he hangs out at rest stops on the Parkway!!!

Welcome, but "A River Runs Through It" allusions won't be tolerated here.

You definitely seem more relaxed since you bought your Barbour tweed jackets and hats.

Funny, Nice to meet you MacFly, where in Pa. are you? I spent a lot of time in the Delaware Water Gap / Portland / Upper Mt. Bethel area.
