Hey Glenn, Im new here as well but saw this thread on your Milwood reel.
I don't know much about them except what I could get from the internet and that is it's not very sought after, just a respectable middle of the road in it's quality.
Just wanted to mention I have a match for your reel and that is a split bamboo rod made by Milwood.
I got it off eBay a few years back with he intention of trying my hand a rod restoration butI never did get around to it.
It needs some new wrapping and the butt needs to be re-seated, maybe some day right.
I'm not trying to sell it to you or nothing, just striking up a conversation and saying hello in the same.

Hey Bruce, thanks for the welcome and info....nice to meet you. I see you're in Sullivan county, I used to live there and still have family there. I'd bet my last dollar we know alot of the same people. Looking forward to talking more. Glenn
