South West Pennsyltucky
I'll be in SW Pennsylvania next week, anyone know of any fishing opportunities there? south of Pittsburgh...some park, a family vacation with the in-laws, I'll want to get away for a bit..
The closest town is Seven Springs....so I'm assuming there will be plenty of water....

Re: South West Pennsyltucky
i will probably have one day to fish....one whole day, so I better plan well, I'm looking for trout, but any fish will do, carp, bass, pike, sunnys, crappy, perch(like that wild NJ perch I caught), anything that swims, snakeheads, walleye, you name it, I'll fish for it, suckers, saugers, anything....

Re: South West Pennsyltucky
I thought that sounded familiar...
Just looked up "Seven Springs" on Google Earth.
That's just south of where my wife grew up.
You haven't met my in-laws....
Not the place to be a city boy with fancy fishing duds and a flyrod.
Can you squeal like a pig?
The "civilized" in-law went to the impoundment at Yellow Creek, but he wasn't a fly fisherman, and it's a bit out of your way. He targeted bass, walleye, muskellunge, and pike.
Before I ruined their lives, the evil stepkids used to fish the creeks (Laurel Run, Yellow Creek and Little Yellow Creek) for stocked trout. .... Again, a bit out of your way. Bring worms.

Well unless you are catering to the South Jersey crowd, you better make those "crispy Taylor Ham sandwiches".
